Why do newspapers use the word India to refer to India Cricket team ????
I often use
news.google.com to see latest news about India. As most papers use the term India to refer to Indian cricket team, the top news story is always about Cricket , not about India in general.
Even if you filter the word cricket, there is a high chance of getting news about cricket coming at the top of Google search.
Look at the screenshot if you don't believe.
